Killzone Mechanical Broadhead (100 grains)

$38.99

Killzone Cut On Contact Crossbow Broadhead -  2" cut  (2 blade) weight - 100gr, 3pk.  (see Special Note*) These beauties are not cheap department store specials in any way. Top of the line quality and great flight and terminal performance.   We discovered these broadheads 7 years ago and have been 100% dedicated ever since. Nothing works better.  No "O" rings or rubber bands here ...... The Killzone is the best mechanical broadhead in our view and is specifically designed for use with today's fastest crossbows or compounds. The broadhead features a stiffer "spring clip blade retention system" and a 2" cutting diameter with a cut-on-contact tip for added cutting performance on impact. The 2 blade broadheads deploy with less energy required to open based on Kodabow research. The small cut on contact feature is an improvement over other designs. This broadhead comes in a 3-pk and each broadhead weighs 100 grains.  Anticipate large entrance and exit wound channels. The broadheads will cut through large whitetail ribs with no compromise in integrity based on our field experience over several years. In addition, the broadheads fly consistent with target point impact so they can come out of the package and go directly on your Kodabow Approved Arrow. Special Note:  Things change! When we first began using these broadheads, they were produced in Illinois at the NAP Factory. We knew the owner and visited the factory.  The company was sold at the end of 2019 and the buyer, GSM, has a business model that shifts production off shore so these broadheads are no longer made in the USA. We think the quality is equivalent because it would be silly business to screw up such a good thing. We sold out of the original Illinois production inventory and are now shipping product from the new offshore source. The package says Made in Taiwan. (As a note...many familiar broadhead names are made offshore.) We would have preferred that this didn't happen on principle but we still believe the design of this specific broadhead is superior to anything else. We will listen to your feedback but believe from a performance standpoint, these broadheads remain a wise choice and will be monitoring results closely.

Recurve Crossbows
by Kodabow

Kodabow crossbows are built on a common core platform that weighs 8.3 lbs including basic grip, scope rail and stock components. All of our crossbow models weigh the same and have the same geometry. The bow spans 34" in width and is 27" when cocked. The length is 34" to 38" because of the adjustable stock. We engineer each recurve limb set per its weight class. That means the Kodabow 185 lb limbs are made slightly different than the 200 lb limbs. (The other way to do it is to make one set of limbs and pull them

Overall weight is a funny thing when it comes to crossbows. Because our crossbow has an exact "midpoint balance", most shooters find the Kodabow very easy to handle. View the short video on the EL-2 sling (see videos section of our homepage) if weight is a concern. With the EL-2 sling, you can still hunt and stalk all day long with a cocked and loaded Kodabow and be instantly ready to go. With the full length rail underneath the crossbow, you can also attach an accessory bipod, put on your ghillie suit, and go to a prone position on the ground if circumstances dictate.

We are frequently asked "what model would be best for me?"

Our answer is that most shooters should begin their search with a Koda-Express 185 or a Zulu 200. These are very stout crossbows and will take any game animal in North America but offer a great combination of lower noise, high speed, extended string life, and ease of loading . These are the most popular Kodabow models. The 225 Big Rhino is the beast of the lineup and offers slightly faster speeds with increased cocking effort but at 40 yards, performance is similar to the lighter weight models.
